Printed Cyclorama

Printed cyclorama is our full-width cyc fabric, sewn from edge to edge in a single continuous field so a wide backdrop — a sky, a skyline, a brand pattern — reads as one uninterrupted image with no seam line cutting across it. We build it in the same lightweight, evenly-diffusing cyc material lighting designers already use for cyc lighting washes.

Full-bleed printing runs your Lantern Stage Co. style artwork corner to corner in large-format dye or pigment print, so the color holds true whether the cyc is lit with a straight wash or side lighting is raking across the surface at a low angle, which is where cheaper prints usually show streaking. We proof the artwork under both lighting conditions before production so what you approve on screen matches what the audience sees under the rig.

Touring productions use it as a branded backdrop that travels folded in a road case, schools and community theaters use it as a scenic sky cyc that also takes a colored wash, and event and AV companies use it as a full-stage brand statement behind a general session or keynote. It’s also common as a rental-house alternative for venues that want a permanent-feeling cyc without building one into the architecture.

Panels come hemmed with a batten pocket and grommets on the bottom for tensioning, and we can add a chain weight for a dead-flat hang under moving light throughout a full run.
