Printed Cyclorama

The Printed Cyclorama turns the back wall of your stage into whatever the show needs it to be. A cyc is the large, smooth backdrop that curves or stretches across the full rear of the stage to represent open sky or infinite space; print one edge to edge in full color and you get a complete painted world — a sunset sky, a city skyline, a stained-glass window, a forest, or a fully branded environment — at a scale no projector or painted flat matches for richness and reliability. Unlike projection, a printed cyc never loses brightness under stage light, never needs a dark room, and never drops out when a followspot crosses it.

We print cycs by dye-sublimation, which drives the ink into the fibers of the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the image survives folding, flying, touring, and years of lighting without cracking or fading. You choose the base to suit the look and the budget: seamless muslin for a classic matte scenic surface, poly stretch knit for a taut wrinkle-free plane that installs drum-tight, or a heavier filled cyc cloth for maximum opacity. Because the artwork is photographic, gradients render smooth, horizons read true, and a designer’s rendering arrives on stage looking exactly like the file.
